October in East Texas

October is always a busy month for us, but we really have enjoyed it. These are a few of our favorite fall activities... football and the pumpkin patch! We were lucky enough to attend a football game for both schools that Kris played football for: Winnsboro High School and McMurry University. The boys really enjoyed themselves at both games. Here they are in their red supporting the Winnsboro Red Raiders!

Friday Night Lights!

And of course... Pappy's Pumpkin Patch. We went last year with our friends the Whytes, and I guess we have officially made it an annual trip. This year Zack and his friend Connor enjoyed it a whole lot more and we had a great time!

He makes such a cute scarecrow!!

Taking a ride in the barrel train and waiving hello to Mom and Dad.

Such a cute little pumpkin!

Our sweet boys

Zack picked out this pumpkin and knew exactly which one he wanted!

He never stands up straight for this picture! Our little man is getting so tall.

ENOUGH PICTURES MOM!!!!

We had a great time at the Bell Family Farm and can't wait to visit again next year. We hope everyone is having a blessed and happy fall!

Where does the time go??

As I was blogging about Noah's six months, I was starting to think back about Zack's six months and trying to figure out where the time has gone! Here is Zack at six months...

And here he is now! It just seems like yesterday when we were celebrating a half year with Zack, and now he is almost two and a half. WOW - I can't believe time has moved so quickly.

Helping Mommy make corn bread muffins.

And now he is a big brother!!! He is such a great big brother too!

Check out the socks on his hands...guess he doesn't want to leave any evidence!! LOL

Eating the leftovers that have fallen in his bib! He can't let ANY blueberries go to waste!

You are growing up so fast, yet turning into such a loving, caring, smart and joyful little boy. Love you Zack-man!

6 months old

Our little firecracker has turned 6 months old!! Here is his half cake, for being half way to one! We love little Noah so much and can't believe that 6 months have flown by so fast. Before we know it, he will be a year old. Here are a few things about our sweet Noah...
*Noah has three teeth (the third came through exactly at six months)
*He is rolling across the room, and is trying to get up on his knees and hands ready to crawl
*He is trying to sit up on his own
*He LOVES his big brother, and takes every opportunity he can to laugh at Zack (he especially thinks it is funny when his brother is having a temper tantrum, which of course only makes Zack more upset. )
*He is sleeping through the night, almost - except when those teeth are bothering him!
*Noah is so full of life and such a little charmer. He just looks at you with those big blue/brown (the jury is still out) eyes, and that killer smile and it just melts your heart. What a handsome and happy little guy we have. Happy six months!

We love you Bubba!

Noah loves his bath time!

Too many cute pics... I couldn't choose!!

Zack's first fish!

Fishing... Kris and I both enjoy fishing, and have now introduced our little man to the sport. He got his fishing pole and tackle box from MeMe and Pappy for his birthday, so he was all set and ready to go. Here daddy is getting everything prepared - and Zack is waiting quite patiently.

Well, the waiting patiently thing did not last long - Zack found a rock to climb on while waiting for Daddy. Have we mentioned he is 100% boy??

Zack really did not get interested in the fishing thing, but was pretty excited when Dad caught a fish.

Trying it out for himself...

What a precious picture

Right before we were about to leave, I asked Kris to give Zack the rod for a picture. He put the line in the water and was "pretending" to fish for the camera.

Before we knew what was going on, Zack had pulled the line out of the water, and this fish was on the hook. He did this all on his own!!! Great job Zack - may all your fishing adventures be this easy :)
