Kris and I love to see Zack smile. We just love that little guy so much, in case you couldn't tell! Here are a few of his recent smiley pictures. We are so blessed to have such a happy baby.

Home made toys!
I know they say that kids would rather play with things around the house than their nice, expensive toys. Well, Zack now has his home made toys that he loves playing with. I have noticed that he is interested in items that are stacked, and loves to knock them down. I was going to go buy him some blocks, but I decided to make them myself. I took some of the Gerber food containers (I have about a million), put rice in them and then taped them shut. Instant blocks (Mom - I know you are proud!). Also, plastic cups will keep him entertained for hours, especially if you hide one of his toys under them!

The next accomplishent - sitting up!
Zack is now able to sit up. He is progressing so well, and we are so proud of him. It won't be long before we are chasing him everywhere!
Notice the big smile? He is smiling at Deke, our dog. He sure does love that dog!

Our Halloween Visitors
Kris' friend Shaun, his wife Kristie, and their sons Brodie and Talon came to Longview to spend the weekend with us. We had a great time with them here. Kristie and I went to get a massage on Saturday while the guys watched the boys. Thanks Shaun and Kris for that wonderful gift!
Here is Brodie watching tv with his girlfriend. (This is an Emily Elizabeth doll that I have that he carried around with him the entire weekend!)

Trick or Treating
We decided to take Zack around in our neigborhood for a little Trick or Treating. Here he is all ready to go and show off his cute tiger outfit!
Zack knew exactly what to do!! He reached in that bucket and grabbed some candy. It was very cute. He did that at all the other houses as well. He is going to have a sweet tooth like his Mommy!!
We went trick or treating with some friends that had come to visit us. Brodie (almost 2 years old) could care less about the candy, he just wanted to ring the doorbells!

Trunk or Treat
A couple of weeks ago we had the Fall Festival at our church, which they call Trunk or Treat. Our Sunday School class made sugar cookies, and we had the kids decorate them. It was a lot of fun!
Here are a couple of girls from our class with Zack.
